Mission

This an initiative to create a portal between Voluntary blood donors & those who are in need of blood donors for an easy, genuine & quick access to donors in times of need.

We all see requests for blood donors, at times in emergency & at times for planned surgical intervention. What we fail to realize is how difficult it is to find the donor of required blood groups when needed.

This difficulty arises due to factors –

There are 6 major blood types found in human beings

–A+, B+, O+, AB+, A-, B-, O- AB-.

Amongst these O – can donate blood to any blood group, while O+ can donate to any of the positive blood types. AB+ can receive from blood from any of the blood types & AB- from any of the negative blood types.

It is always preferred that donors be type specific.

Blood Groups like AB-,B-,AB+ are relatively rare to find.

Thus it is really a huge effort to find the right donor, at the right time

Due to this at times a life that could have been saved is lost, for the want of something as universal as blood which every one of us walks around with.

Through, the initiative we wish to provide an easy, quick way to connect the interested voluntary donors with those who need blood.
